Apostate Cigars

The Story

Some names are chosen for marketing.

Apostate wasn't.

In the Mormon faith, an apostate is someone who has left the Church—someone who has chosen a different path. It's a word often associated with separation and judgment.

For us, it came to mean something different.

It came to represent the courage to think independently, to pursue truth wherever it leads, and to live authentically. Apostate Cigars isn't about leaving a religion. It's about the freedom to follow your own convictions and the respect to extend that same freedom to others.

That philosophy inspired our company.

After years as tobacconists, we set out to create a cigar brand that was every bit as meaningful as it was exceptional. Working with legendary master blender Jochy Blanco at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic, we craft premium cigars with the same care and intention that shaped our vision from the beginning.

Our blends draw inspiration from the history, symbolism, and folklore of the American West, as well as the culture that shaped our own lives. Every cigar tells a story, but none asks you to share ours.

Whether your journey has been defined by faith, family, tradition, or simply a love of great cigars, you're welcome here.

Smoke what you believe in.

Welcome to Apostate.
